Library CLOSED

The Spring Valley Library will be CLOSED on Friday, March 25 in observance of Good Friday. No late fees will accrue on this day. The Library will reopen on Saturday as usual. 

Workforce Development Workshop

A representative of the Department of Wisconsin Workforce development will be at the library to help job seekers with their resumes and job applications. Walk-ins are welcome. 

Library Board Meeting

The Spring Valley Public Library Board meeting will be at 7PM on Tuesday, March 1. This meeting is open to the public. 

Library CLOSED due to Weather

The SV Library will be closed at 2PM due to the weather. Watch this website and the Library facebook page for sudden closings and late openings. (www.facebook.com/springvalleypubliclibrary) The Library will make a good faith effort to reume normal hours on Wednesday, Febrary 3. NOTE: if the Spring Valley Schools are 2 hours late or closed on Wednesday, February 3 there will NOT be storytime. 

A-Z Book Club "D:

Adult A-Z Book Club for the letter "D". Choose a book written by an author who has a last name that begins with the letter "D" and come to the meeting to share with others what you have read and to hear from other participants about their "C" reads. Cookies and tea/hot chocolate will be served. Can you get through all 26 letters of the alphabet? Next meeting will be for a "F" author. All are welcome!

The Library Board meeting of February 2 has been CANCELED due to the weather. The meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 9. 

Crochet Club

Come and join the fun every third Satruday of the month at 10AM. Yarn and crochet hooks provided or bring your own! Beginners welcome! 

Workforce Development Workshop

A representative of the Department of Workforce Development will be available to answer questions about submitting job applications and editing resumes. This is an informal walk-in session for those seeking help with their employment search. It is FREE and open to all and is held 10-12pm on Friday, January 8.

Ms. Julie will lead a fun interactive Story Time session.  Ages 0-5k are welcome. No registration required.
